Job summary

FNB South Africa is seeking an experienced Public Sector Regional Director to lead and grow our Public Sector portfolio across regions. The role focuses on developing key government relationships, driving business growth, and delivering innovative banking solutions that benefit clients and communities.

The successful candidate will manage high-performing teams, deploy risk management frameworks, and ensure alignment with organizational values and service standards.

Qualifications

• Finance related NQF7 or Bachelor of Honour in Commerce.
• RE 5 qualification.
• RE 1 will be an added advantage.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.
• Ensure implementation of the business Transformation plan and inclusive culture.
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
• Define and drive the tactical sales strategy for area of responsibility.
• Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Design and deliver customer service solutions that align with values and standards.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to support solutions.
• Identify and implement ideas, policies and frameworks to enhance sales and profit.
• Develop aligned tactics to interpret strategic business plans.
• Lead with product and sales skills across areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrate leadership through commitment to organizational values.
• Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.
• Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have The Following Exposure

• Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.

• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
• Define and drive the tactical sales strategy for area of responsibility.
• Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility.
• Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organizational values and service standards that build the brand.
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
• Identify, drive and implement ideas, policies, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance sales and increase profit and manage future fit practice.
• Effective development of aligned and integrated tactics which interpret strategic business plans.
• Lead with product and sales skills, facilitating high-performance levels across areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrate leadership behavior through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organizational values.
• Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.
• Manage expenditure planning and variances within approved budget parameters.
• Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources.
• The successful candidate will look after North West, Free State and Northern Cape area as well.

Additional Requirements

• Applicants residing either Bloemfontein or Klerksdorp will be considered
• Must hold a Finance related NQF7 or Bachelor of Honour in Commerce
• Must hold a RE 5 qualification
• RE 1 will be an added advantage
• Must have a Valid Driver’s licence and own vehicle
