Job summary

FirstRand Group in Bloemfontein is seeking an experienced Public Sector Regional Director to lead and grow the Public Sector portfolio across North West, Free State and Northern Cape. • Deploy integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility.
• Lead with product and sales skills, facilitating high-performance levels across areas of responsibility.
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership and innovative solutions.
• Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Public Sector Regional Director to lead and grow our Public Sector portfolio within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with key government stakeholders, driving business growth, leading high-performing teams, and delivering innovative banking solutions that create value for our clients and communities.

The Ideal candidate must have the following exposure:

• Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.
• Ensure implementation of the business Transformation plan and creation of an inclusive culture for employees
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
• Define and drive the tactical sales strategy for area of responsibility.
• Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility.
• Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organizational values and service standards that build the brand.
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
• Identify, drive and implement ideas, policies, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance sales and increase profit and manage future fit practice.
• Effective development of aligned and integrated tactics which interpret strategic business plans.
• Lead with product and sales skills, facilitating high-performance levels across areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrate leadership behavior through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organizational values.
• Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.
• Manage expenditure planning and variances within approved budget parameters.
• Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources.

The successful candidate will look after North West, Free State and Northern Cape area as well.

Additional requirements:

• Applicants residing either Bloemfontein or Klerksdorp will be considered
• Must hold a Finance related NQF7 or Bachelor of Honour in Commerce
• Must hold a RE 5 qualification
• RE 1 will be an added advantage
• Must have a Valid Driver's licence and own vehicle
