Job summary

WHO - World Health Organization in South Africa (Pretoria) is seeking a DATA MANAGER for the SSA contract. The role focuses on deep-dive data analysis and management for HIV, TB, STIs, Viral Hepatitis, and related programmes, including support to the Pandemic fund projects and surveillance hub.

The incumbent will develop and review M&E tools, create data collection/reporting tools, perform data analysis, and produce timely reports.

Qualifications

• Advanced master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
• Specialized training in epidemiology and data management.
• Experience in data collation and analysis for health programmes.
• Strong analytic and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and review of M&E tools.
• Create electronic data collection and reporting tools.
• Review data collection tools for better decision-making.
• Data analysis and dashboards visualization.
• Support data quality through routine verification and data quality assessments.
