Job summary

Synergy Jobs (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to analyze and optimize business systems across finance, property management, and asset management in Parow, Western Cape. You will bridge finance, operations and IT, leading system integrations and reporting enhancements.

The role focuses on governance, data integrity, and delivering scalable solutions within a property fund environment, with emphasis on dashboards and analytics for management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience as an Information Systems Engineer / Systems Analyst, preferably in property, real estate, or financial services.
• Experience with property management systems is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, user support, and system administration principles.
• Understanding of financial processes (billing, debtors, creditors, leasing, property management, budgeting, reporting).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with system integrations and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design business systems and processes within the property fund environment.
• Lead implementation and optimization of property management and financial systems.
• Ensure data integrity and develop dashboards/reports for management.
• Act as liaison between finance, property management, IT and external vendors.
• Ensure governance, controls, documentation, and compliance.
• Participate in or lead system-related projects and digital transformation initiatives.
