Job summary

Constantia, Western Cape-based client seeks a Systems Analyst to join the IT/Finance team on a permanent basis. You will monitor system health, data integrity and support data-driven decision making.

You will engage with business users to identify data integration needs, test instrument types, analyze system behaviour and collaborate with vendors to optimise system changes and controls.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant tech/systems or financial services experience.
• Exposure to programming, scripting or technical system configuration.
• Experience analysing system behaviour and improving IT systems.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Strong understanding of data integrity and system controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance daily.
• Maintain and improve daily system controls.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy of business and market data.
• Collaborate with business users to source data integration needs.
• Test new instrument types and verify end-to-end system integrity.
• Analyze system behaviour and identify issues.
• Implement configuration changes impacting views and functionality.
• Support Investment Management team with system issues.
