Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 5+ years in property law and conveyancing.
• Experience drafting commercial and residential property agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of South African property law, sectional title legislation, and acts.
• Conveyancing management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate property-related agreements including sale and leases.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, disposals, and developments.
• Manage conveyancing processes, including transfer registrations and bond registrations.
• Ensure compliance with land use planning, zoning regulations, and environmental laws.
• Advise on sectional title schemes and homeowners' association matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence on property acquisitions.
• Manage legal disputes related to property and construction.
• Liaise with external counsel, estate agents, and financial institutions.
