Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead large-scale electrical infrastructure projects from planning to completion, including substations and overhead line work.

The role requires strong project management, coordination across teams, travel to Cape Town Northern Suburbs sites, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. A minimum NQF Level 6 in Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical infrastructure, power distribution, or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of Low, Medium, and High Voltage electrical systems.
• Proven experience with substations, distribution networks, and overhead line construction.
• Excellent project management, planning, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Cape Town Northern Suburbs and surrounding areas.
