Placements24 is partnering with a leading FMCG client in Paarl to hire a Project Manager for supply chain optimization. The role focuses on planning, executing and finalizing projects spanning inventory management, logistics, distribution and procurement within a fast-paced, office-based environment.

You will work closely with operations managers, procurement specialists and IT teams to drive process improvements, monitor metrics and deliver measurable results for a resilient supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Experience in implementing supply chain optimization strategies.
• In-depth understanding of procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and supply chain analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP systems and WMS is highly desirable.
