Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for supply chain optimization initiatives, from planning to implementation and evaluation.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, warehousing, procurement, IT) and external partners.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
• Implement and manage new supply chain technologies and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP modules).
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects align with overall business objectives and strategic goals.
• Communicate project status and outcomes effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, PMP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on supply chain and logistics projects.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding R5 million.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and project management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Project).
