About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure development projects based in or near Tembisa . This role requires a blend of on-site engagement for key project milestones and strategic remote work, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of large-scale construction and development initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of these projects, working closely with engineering teams, contractors, and local authorities to achieve project objectives safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, identifying and resolving issues that may impact project success.
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings, balancing remote project oversight with essential on-ground presence.
• Develop detailed project documentation, including progress reports and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools; experience with hybrid work models is beneficial.
