Job summary

Omega HR Solutions is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead on-site infrastructure projects, coordinating planning, scheduling and reporting across multiple stakeholders.

The role calls for SACPCMP registration, a civil engineering/construction management degree, and 3–5 years of infrastructure experience. You will manage budgets, safety compliance and quality standards in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Registered with SACPCMP as a professional construction project manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or quantity surveying.
  • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure development projects.
  • Proven ability to lead on-site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, reporting, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Experience in Project and Programme Management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • The focus will be on programme management and reporting.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize resource allocation.
  • Manage on-site teams and liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, reporting, and execution on various infrastructure development programmes.
  • Conduct site inspections for the purpose of rendering technical advice.
  • Contract Management.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout project lifecycle.
