• Deep understanding of Electronic Health Records, clinical information systems, and healthcare IT infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution, and deployment of healthcare technology projects including EHR, telehealth, and medical IT infrastructure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources with clinical and IT stakeholders.

About the Role Our client, a leading healthcare provider committed to leveraging technology for enhanced patient care, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead technology integration initiatives. This role, based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, will focus on the seamless implementation of new healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and digital health solutions. You will be instrumental in managing projects from initiation through to successful deployment, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations and maximum benefit for healthcare professionals and patients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of healthcare systems, project management best practices, and has a proven ability to manage complex technology projects within a sensitive environment. This role offers a hybrid work structure, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility in KwaZulu-Natal.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and successful deployment of healthcare technology projects, including EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and medical IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in healthcare IT or technology integration projects.
• Experience in managing projects within a hospital or clinical setting in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, or a similar healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, HIS, PACS, and other clinical information systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, network security, and data privacy regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
