Job summary

Centrax Digital is seeking a Delivery Lead to plan and steer engagements from signature to close. You will own the plan, budget, risks and client relationship across the engagement lifecycle.

You will initiate engagements, produce and maintain the engagement plan, and run governance cadences. The role requires 5+ years delivering technology projects, including multi-stream complexity and consulting exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification required; PMP/Agile PM/SAFe is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering technology projects to external clients.
• Experience leading projects of at least R5 million in value.
• Consulting environment with multiple concurrent engagements.
• Familiarity with MSA, SOW, Change Request documents and various billing models.

Responsibilities

• Initiate engagements through the PMO entry workflow with client alignment on scope and terms.
• Produce and maintain engagement plan, WBS, and resource plan in Zoho Projects.
• Run engagement governance cadence: weekly status, monthly steering, quarterly reviews.
• Maintain risk and issue registers; escalate as needed.
• Manage change control and confirm commercial impact with Engagement Lead.
• Coordinate delivery teams and resolve resourcing conflicts with practice leads.
• Track time and cost against budget; provide monthly billing input to Finance.
• Close engagements with handover to Customer Success and lessons learned.

You lead engagements from contract signature to close, and own the plan, the budget, the risks, and the client relationship.

THE ROLE

To plan and lead the delivery of Centrax Digital engagements to time, scope, and value. You are accountable for the day-to-day running of the engagement, the health of the plan, the management of risk and change, and the client relationship across the engagement lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Initiate engagements through the PMO entry workflow, confirming scope, deliverables, governance, and commercial terms with the client.
• Produce and maintain the engagement plan, work breakdown structure, and resource plan in Zoho Projects.
• Run the engagement governance cadence: weekly status, monthly steering committee, quarterly review.
• Maintain the risk and issue register and escalated to the Delivery Director or steering committee where required.
• Manage change control through the PMO change workflow and confirm commercial impact with the Engagement Lead.
• Coordinate the delivery team day to day and resolve resourcing conflicts with the practice leads.
• Track time and cost against budget, and produce monthly billing input for Finance.
• Run engagement close: handover to Customer Success, lessons learned, archive, and PMO close-out report.
• Maintain a defensible audit trail of decisions, changes, approvals, and escalations.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification required. PMP, Agile PM, or SAFe certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering technology projects to external clients.
• Experience leading projects of at least R5 million in value, or equivalent multi-stream complexity.
• Experience in a consulting environment with multiple concurrent engagements.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting MSA, SOW, and Change Request documents, and with time and materials, fixed price, and milestone billing models.
• Experience across both platform and bespoke development engagements is an advantage. Financial services, public sector, or large enterprise experience is an advantage.

WHERE THE BOUNDARIES SIT

Architecture decisions sit with the Solution Architect. Client commercial ownership sits with the Engagement Lead or account roles where assigned.

HOW THIS ROL E EVOLVES

Centrax is concurrently advertising a Delivery Lead (JH02), a composite role that holds project management, workstream leadership, and quality gate ownership in one seat until dedicated appointments are made. Candidates for this position may also be considered for that one.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Standard working hours of 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility expected around critical milestones, client steering committees, and incident response. Hybrid working in line with company policy, with the expectation of being on site for client steering committees and at Bryanston Gate for the PMO cadence. Travel to client sites is part of the role.

REMUNERATION

Market related, commensurate with experience.
