Job summary

Hitachi Energy South Africa (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project/Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of High Voltage orders booked in South Africa.

You will monitor key performance metrics, manage frame contracts with utilities, and ensure on-time delivery with strict adherence to safety, quality, and financial targets. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in High Voltage Industry with project management in South Africa.
• Experience with EPC projects is an added advantage.
• Ability to lead team and influence stakeholders for project success.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver on time, cost, and quality.
• SAP/ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of High Voltage Orders booked in South Africa.
• Monitor KPIs: Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On-time Delivery, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Manage frame contracts with utilities and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to fulfill contract obligations.
• Conduct project reviews with factory management to ensure contract fulfilment.
• Identify risks and escalate/resolve issues with customers.
