Job summary

Fusion Software in Johannesburg is seeking a Project Manager to drive software implementation projects from concept to delivery. You will manage timelines, budgets, risk, and quality while keeping clients satisfied and engaged throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong stakeholder and team leadership, excellent communication, and experience training clients on Fusion Software systems. Occasional travel to client sites within South Africa may be required.

Role And Responsibilities

• Interfaces with all project stakeholders to take projects from original concept through to final implementation.
• Ensures that the project delivers the as-sold solution, remains within baseline budget, and is delivered on time while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Manages client satisfaction, commitment, and expectations to high service levels and manage escalations adequately.
• Manages the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that client requirements are met, timelines are adhered to, and deliverables are achieved.
• Ensures effective project planning, stakeholder management, team coordination, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
• Configuration of Fusion Software’s application platforms.
• Provide training to clients on Fusion Software systems.
• Potential Travel to clients within the country if required.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with Development, Support, Client Success and Management teams.
• Coordinate internal resources to meet project milestones.
• Escalate project risks where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

Quality & Governance

• Ensure implementation methodology is followed.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Ensure timesheets and project administration are completed accurately.
• Promote continuous improvement within project delivery.
