Job summary

Rank Group seeks an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the gambling sector. You will oversee day-to-day management and coordination of projects, ensuring delivery is well planned, controlled and communicated across stakeholders.

The role supports predictable delivery by managing scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, budget tracking and business readiness activities in line with team standards and governance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience managing multidisciplinary software development projects in Agile environments.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams (software, hardware, and operations) is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management tools and best practices, including risk, schedule and budget control.
• Experience in gambling or gaming industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring scope, schedule, resources, risks and dependencies are managed.
• Manage and control project scope with clear requirements, documentation and change governance.
• Develop, maintain and track project plans and milestones, identifying risks and driving follow-up actions.
• Ensure delivery is supported by quality controls, documentation, testing coordination and readiness activities.
• Provide clear, concise and timely communication to stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Coordinate project resources across cross-functional teams, highlighting constraints and prioritising as needed.
• Use project management methods, tools and governance processes consistently (RAID, reporting, logs).
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies with mitigation plans and escalation paths.
• Monitor costs and forecasts, supporting financial control and raising budget concerns when needed.
• Support business readiness and change activity for adoption of outcomes into operations.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of standards and templates.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience managing multidisciplinarysoftware developmentprojects in fast-paced, Agile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams, including software, hardware, and operations disciplines.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project), and best practices.
• Experience within the gambling or gaming industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field desirable
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and responsible gambling principles desirable
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus
