The Good Human (Pty)Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking a Project Manager to lead transformative technology, gaming, or sports projects from conception to delivery.

You will own end-to-end delivery, develop plans, manage risks, and collaborate with Product Owners and development teams in an Agile environment. This role focuses on driving value and ensuring quality across multiple streams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' project management experience in tech/digital/product environments.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end technology projects.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum settings.
• Ability to work with software development teams.
• Skilled at managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned projects, from initiation through delivery and post-implementation review.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams, tracking scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, RAID logs, and dashboards.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and health.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting iterative delivery processes.
• Facilitate activities such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
• Manage backlogs, priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Promote continuous improvement and Agile practices.
• Coordinate testing and deployment activities, including UAT and QA.
• Ensure change management processes are followed and lessons learned are documented.
