Fempower Personnel is searching for an accomplished Project Finance Structuring Specialist for a leading Development Finance Institution.
We are looking for a seasoned Project/Infrastructure Finance professional who understands how to take an infrastructure project and develop a bankable, investable financing structure capable of attracting capital and progressing towards financial close.
Relevant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field
Minimum 8 years' experience in Project Finance / Infrastructure Finance
Proven experience structuring infrastructure transactions
Demonstrable involvement in transactions progressing to financial close
Strong understanding of limited-recourse project finance
Ability to interrogate financial models and translate model outputs into appropriate financing structures
Experience structuring and/or working with:
Senior and mezzanine debt
Equity
Blended finance
Concessional funding
Guarantees and credit enhancement
PPP structures
Local-currency funding
Strong understanding of risk allocation between sponsors, lenders, EPC contractors, O&M providers, government and other project parties
Experience negotiating with developers, lenders, DFIs, government and advisors
Exposure to term sheets, intercreditor arrangements, common terms agreements and security structures
Infrastructure exposure across energy, water, transport, ICT and/or PPPs
Candidates may come from commercial banks, DFIs, infrastructure developers/sponsors or transaction advisory environments, provided they have genuine hands-on Project Finance structuring experience.
Water infrastructure Project Finance experience will be particularly advantageous, although strong Project Finance experience across other infrastructure sectors remains suitable.
