Job summary

Network2 in Cape Town is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to lead the design, planning, and execution of solar PV projects across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications. You will design PV layouts, perform site assessments and energy yield analyses, prepare technical drawings, manage BOMs and cost estimates, and provide on-site support during installation and commissioning.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV project engineering.
• Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid integration, and renewable energy technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
