Job summary

Prime System Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Managed Services team, focusing on cloud technologies, automation, and modern IT infrastructure. The role involves designing, deploying, and supporting cloud and on-premises environments with emphasis on Microsoft technologies, virtualization, and network infrastructure.

The engineer will lead initiatives in Azure, Intune, and VMware, ensure secure access with MFA, and work across Active Directory migrations and email security

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365 and VMware.
• Experience with cloud migrations and identity synchronization.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and DADO products is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure environments including Azure Virtual Desktop and Cloud PCs.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for device management across Android, Apple, and Windows.
• Migrate on-prem identities to cloud (Entra ID) and configure AD tools.
• Manage Active Directory migrations and Azure AD Connect configurations.
• Configure and maintain VMware environments and perform version upgrades.
• Set up DHCP, file servers, and new server builds in Azure and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering

• Design, deploy, and manageMicrosoft Azure environments, includingAzure Virtual Desktop,Cloud PCs, andAzure tenancies.
• Implement and manageMicrosoft Intunefor device management across Android, Apple, and Windows platforms.
• ConductActive Directory migrationsfrom on-prem to cloud (Entra ID).
• Configure and maintainVMware environments, including deployment and version upgrades.
• Set up and manageDHCP,file servers, andnew server buildsin Azure and on-prem environments.

Identity & Access Management

• Configure and troubleshootAzure AD Connect, includingpassword hash sync,pass-through authentication, andADFS.
• EnforceMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)policies across users and tenancies.
• ManageMicrosoft Intraand synchronization of identities from on-prem environments.

Email & Security

• AdministerMicrosoft 365, with a focus onExchange Online.
• ConfigureSPF,DKIM, andDMARCrecords for email security.
• Ensure secure access and compliance across cloud and hybrid environments.

Automation & Tooling

• Contribute to automation initiatives using AI and scripting to streamline operations.
• Evaluate and implement innovative tools to enhance service delivery in the MSP space.
• Recommend and utilize essential MSP tools (e.g., RMM platforms, ticketing systems, documentation tools).

• Proven experience inMicrosoft Azure,Intune,Microsoft 365, andVMware.
• Strong understanding ofnetwork infrastructure,troubleshooting methodologies, andhardware stacks.
• Experience withcloud migrations,identity synchronization, andserver setups.
• Familiarity withGoogle SuiteandDADO productsis a plus.
