Job summary

Entyce Beverages Durban Tea Factory, part of AVI Limited, seeks a Project Coordinator on a fixed-term 6-month contract in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Assist Projects Department with planning and implementing multiple capital projects in a manufacturing environment to drive capacity-enabling changes in the plants. A proven track record of handling multiple plant equipment projects is essential.

Line Manager: Site Project Manager. Join a team delivering key improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

5–10 years’ FMCG experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
Trade-tested Millwright or Fitter and Turner with minimum N4.
Forklift license advantageous.
Willingness to overtime and weekends.
Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills.
Experience with equipment installation.
MS Office; MS Projects and AutoCAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Liaise with suppliers concerning design and manufacture of equipment.
Installation of Capital Projects.
Ensure project installations meet requirements and standards for National Brands Limited.
Management of Contractors and internal resources.
Project progress reporting.
Coordinate Safety, Health and Environment in the department.
Assist in preparation of capital vote applications.
