Job summary

National Brands Limited (NBL) Isando Coffee and Creamer factory in Kempton Park seeks a passionate Project Engineer to support the Projects Department with planning and implementation of multiple capacity-enhancing initiatives in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will liaise with suppliers, manage installations, and coordinate safety and budgets, drawing on a 3-5 year FMCG track record and a Mechanical Engineering degree. OT may apply; MS Office, MS Projects and AutoCAD are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG.
• BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Strong technical attributes in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles
• Equipment installation experience.
• MS Office, MS Projects and AutoCAD will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers concerning the design and manufacture of equipment.
• Installation of Capital Projects.
• Ensure project installations meet the proposed requirements and standards for National Brands Limited.
• Management of Contractors and internal resources.
• Project progress reporting.
• Ensuring project deadlines are met on time and within budget.
• Co-ordinate the activities associated with the management of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) in the department.
• Ability to carry out project lifecycle, technical scopes and capital justifications.
