Job summary

AECI is seeking a senior project management professional to lead and coordinate operational support, engineering services, maintenance, and strategic projects within Front-End Support. You will ensure projects align with AECI standards, strategy, governance, and safety requirements across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, and auditing delivery systems, managing multi-disciplinary teams and contractors, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Project Management.
• 3–5 years' experience in delivery systems and engineering processes.
• 3–5 years' mining experience.
• Experience within the explosives industry.
• Proven experience in project engineering and/or project management.
• Proven experience in plant optimisation and engineering improvement projects.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Experience with process design documentation, including:
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
• Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• HAZOP
• Management of Change (MOC)
• Experience in contractor and contract management.
• Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk‑control processes.

• Proven experience in plant optimisation and engineering improvement projects.
