Job summary

You will engage with students, deliver learning activities, and assist in curriculum and material development while contributing to campus academic culture and leadership across the programme.

Qualifications

• Masters of Law (LLM) NQF Level 9; 3 years teaching experience in tertiary environment.
• Admission as an Attorney/Advocate is an added advantage.
• Experience in student support and assessment development in higher education.

Job Purpose

To teach/lecture allocated modules. To engage and prepare students for assessments by tracking module pacers, identifying and supporting at risk students, managing general student administrative support, and developing assessments by engaging with the Central Academic Team. Assisting the Programme Coordinator in tracking and analysing of academic results to evaluate the performance of the module and to identify “at risk modules”.

Education

• Bachelor Honours in Business Management or Entrepreneurship
• Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education would be advantageous.

Minimum requirements

• 3 years Experience in the teaching and learning field, specifically lecturing and student support in the tertiary environment.
• Admission as an Attorney/Advocate will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

Classes are scheduled between 08h00am until 17h00pm, Monday to Friday.
