Job summary

IIE Rosebank International invites applications for a full‑time teaching role. You will deliver allocated modules, engage with students, and support assessments and academic results analysis to identify at‑risk areas.

You will assist in onboarding, curriculum reviews, and material development while contributing to overall campus academic performance and staff integration.

Qualifications

  • Honours degree in Commerce required.
  • PGCE/PGDip is an added advantage.
  • 1–3 years lecturing experience desired.
  • Solid understanding of SA FE and HE environments and regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

  • Teach allocated modules and prepare students for assessments.
  • Track module progress and support at‑risk students.
  • Coordinate student onboarding and admissions intake within programmes.
  • Contribute to materials and assessment development.
  • Support programme review and curriculum updates.
  • Lead in-campus academic performance and staff onboarding.

Job Purpose

To teach/lecture allocated modules. To engage and prepare students for assessments by tracking module pacers, identifying and supporting at‑risk students, managing general student administrative support, and developing assessments by engaging with the Central Academic Team. Assisting the Programme Coordinator in tracking and analysing academic results to evaluate the performance of the module and to identify at‑risk modules.

Academic Management and Leadership

  • Creation and promotion of academic culture on campus
Management of Resources
  • Responsible for recruitment and management of Full Time Lecturers

Minimum Requirements
  • Honours degree in the Commerce field
  • Educational qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGDip) will be an added advantage.
  • 1 to 3 years of industry‑specific experience in area of specialisation.
  • 1 to 3 years lecturing experience.
  • Solid understanding of the South African Further Education and Higher Education environment and regulatory framework.
