Job summary

Communicate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to own large-scale fintech and payment solutions delivery, driving complex software implementations and governance.

You will lead strategic programmes spanning multiple workstreams, collaborate with senior leaders, product and engineering teams, and manage vendors to ensure regulatory alignment.

The role focuses on PMO controls, budgets, timelines, and successful enterprise releases, shaping digital financial services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing technology transformation, software delivery, or enterprise programmes in Fintech/Payments/Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, acquiring platforms, issuing systems, or related fintech tech.
• Experience leading large, complex cross-functional technology programmes.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain robust PMO controls and delivery frameworks.
• Manage programme budgets, timelines, dependencies, and RAID logs.
• Monitor project health and ensure successful execution across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee end-to-end deployments of payment platforms, transaction processing systems, issuing solutions, and reconciliation environments.
• Ensure seamless delivery of enterprise-scale software releases and upgrades.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders, product teams, engineering teams, and external clients.
• Drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful programme outcomes.
• Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners, maintaining accountability and governance throughout programme lifecycles.

What We're Looking For

5+ years' experience managing technology transformation, software delivery, or enterprise programmes within Fintech, Payments, Retail Banking, or Financial Services.

Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, acquiring platforms, issuing systems, transaction processing, or related financial technologies.

Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology programmes.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
