Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead projects from feasibility through to close-out in the South Africa Wes-Kaap region. You will liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities, and prepare tender documentation, technical specifications and project reports.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers and delivering strong leadership. Requirements include a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng registration with ECSA and a minimum of 5 years

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering required.
• Pr Eng registered with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.

• Strong experience in municipal services and civil infrastructure
• Project leadership and client/stakeholder liaison
• Full project lifecycle management from feasibility through to project close-out
• Experience with tender documentation, technical specifications and project reports
• Strong contract and project management experience advantageous
• Experience liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities
• Ability to lead, support and mentor junior engineers
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office

Qualification:
