Placements24 is seeking an experienced Truck Driver (Code 14) to join a growing fleet serving Mahikeng and the North West region. The role involves long-haul transportation with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance and cargo security.

The ideal candidate will have a Code 14 license with PDP, at least 5 years of professional driving experience, and thorough knowledge of North West road networks. You will operate a modern fleet and report to dispatch with any route delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks (Code 14) for transporting goods over significant distances.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its equipment.
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of cargo according to company standards.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, driving hour regulations, and safety policies.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery manifests, and fuel consumption records.

Requirements
