Qualifications

• Valid South African Code 14 driver's license with PDP.
• 3+ years of proven truck driving experience, preferably long-haul/regional.
• Excellent driving record with no major infractions.
• Ability to perform physical loading/unloading of goods.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan and execute daily routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or required maintenance.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and any incidents encountered.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pick-up operations.

Requirements

• Valid South African Code 14 driver's license with a professional driving permit (PDP).
