Placements24 in Midrand, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle driver to join our logistics team. You will transport goods across routes, ensure on-time deliveries, and uphold safety standards. You must hold a valid Code 14 PDP, have at least 3 years of HGV experience, and be able to perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws.
• Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals in Midrand and surrounding areas.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load and unload cargo securely and verify shipments.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
