Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver's license with a PDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an HGV driver.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods.
• Plan and execute daily delivery routes, optimizing for time and fuel efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or required maintenance promptly.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly according to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, including proof of delivery.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
