West Coast Personnel is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee a 20+ staff team. You will plan daily production to meet customer orders, monitor output and quality, and coordinate equipment maintenance.

The role includes HR support, OHS compliance, and improving processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in production planning, leadership, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement.

Formación

• 5+ years of Production Manager/Production Supervisor experience.
• Experience managing 20+ production staff.
• Strong production planning and organisational ability.
• Computer literate – Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift license advantageous.
• OHS experience advantageous.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 5+ years' Production Manager / Production Supervisor experience.
• Proven experience managing 20+ production staff.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Strong technical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience within timber, woodworking, shopfitting, engineering, packaging, printing, metal or plastics manufacturing advantageous.
• Strong production planning and organisational ability.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Computer literate – Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift license advantageous.
• OHS experience advantageous.
• Able to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong but fair people-management style.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday: 08:00–17:00
Saturday: 08:00–13:00
