West Coast Personnel in Cape Town is seeking a skilled Production Manager to lead a 20+ staff team, plan daily production against customer orders, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive quality, coordinate equipment setup and maintenance, manage stock and warehouse activities, and support HR matters for the production team while upholding OHS standards. This role is on-site in Cape Town and reports to the management team.

• Must have 5+ years in production management or supervision.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 5+ years' Production Manager / Production Supervisor experience.
• Proven experience managing 20+ production staff .
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Strong technical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience within timber, woodworking, shopfitting, engineering, packaging, printing, metal or plastics manufacturing advantageous.
• Strong production planning and organisational ability.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Computer literate Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift license advantageous.
• OHS experience advantageous.
• Able to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong but fair people-management style.
