Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Production Line Technician to join a busy manufacturing facility in Centurion, Gauteng. In this hands-on role you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery to keep the line running smoothly and meet quality standards.

You will work with a dynamic team, perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, set up new equipment, and uphold safety protocols. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and is comfortable with shift

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Production Line Technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Experience with operating and maintaining various manufacturing equipment.
Commitment to safety regulations and hazard identification.
Able to work shifts and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on the production line.
Conduct quality checks on products during manufacture.
Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment or line modifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
