Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our George, Western Cape facility. The role focuses on leading a team of production staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a safe, productive environment to meet quality targets.

You will report to the Production Manager and drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and waste while ensuring accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualification or diploma in a related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using production management software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours if required and adapt to changing production demands.
