Placements24 is seeking a skilled Production Engineer for our East London manufacturing operations. You will optimize production processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive operational excellence in collaboration with production, quality control and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes process improvements, automation, SOP development, and monitoring KPIs to ensure high output and quality. A strong engineering background and practical manufacturing experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering required.
Proven experience as a Production Engineer in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, process optimization and quality control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
Develop and implement process improvements, including automation and workflow optimization.
Troubleshoot production line issues, root causes, implement solutions.
