Production Accountant - (FMCG)
Location: Ogies

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Improve and maintain a stock management system to ensure the integrity and accuracy thereof. Coordinate with the production and Procurement teams to ensure records related to inventory are properly maintained.
  2. Report the Raw Material stock profiles and allocations Investigating, Resolving, and Reporting shortfalls and surplus inventory.
  3. Assist in perpetual inventory stock counting.
  4. Monitor and evaluate consumables usage and cost.
  5. Produce daily reports and ensure critical areas in stock systems are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  6. Provide detailed analysis of all costing.
  7. Assist departments with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  8. Monthly tracking of expenses against budget and Forecast totals.
  9. Assist departments to compile monthly financial and technical reports.
  10. Update and communicate inbound schedule with raw material deliveries and/or order changes.
  11. Perform regular follow-ups on orders, deliveries, receipts, and instructions. Manage issues as they arise.
  12. Attend and participate in meetings related to procurement and deliveries.
  13. Ensure all moisture adjustments are claimed and processed accurately and on time.
  14. Compare grading documents to specifications and manage discrepancies.
  15. Ensure all measurement is performed accurately with verified equipment as per verification and calibration procedure and relevant certificates are on file.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum requirements:
  1. BCom Accounting Qualification
  2. Driver's license
  3. Minimum 3-5 Years' experience
  4. Microsoft Office computer knowledge
  5. Own transport

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  7. Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
  8. Must be resilient.

Package & Remuneration
The successful candidate will report to the Production manager. Remuneration will be determined according to qualifications & experience. The company offers the normal benefits of a large company.
