Job summary

Humankind Group in Midrand seeks an experienced Product Manager to drive GP, sell-in and sell-out targets, and manage stock, pricing and margins across the portfolio.

You will support sales with quotations, costings and commercial input, oversee end-to-end logistics, and build strong stakeholder relationships while tracking performance and insights. Matric is required; a related tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Finance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' Product Management experience.
• Proven sales track record, preferably within ICT Distribution.
• Minimum 3 years in a target-driven environment.
• At least 2 years' logistics experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work with formulas, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong interest in technology and IT products.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly GP, sell-in, sell-out, stock and aged-stock targets.
• Manage product profitability, pricing and margin structures.
• Manage OTB, stock budgets and weeks of inventory.
• Monitor and optimise stock levels across the portfolio.
• Oversee order management and end-to-end logistics processes.
• Produce product costings, pricing and retailer quotations.
• Support sales teams with quotations, listings and commercial input.
• Lead weekly sales meetings and resolve stock-related challenges.
• Manage vendor credits, AP variances and related disputes.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, retailers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with HP on product strategy, incentives and promotional programmes.
• Track performance and provide meaningful commercial insights.
• Maintain accurate ERP product codes, pricing and agreements.
• Deliver product and sales training to internal teams.
• Stay abreast of market trends, new products and technology roadmaps.

Qualification: Matric required. A relevant tertiary qualification/diploma in Sales, Marketing or Finance would be advantageous.

Additional: A valid driver's licence and own vehicle are required. Local and interprovincial travel will be required.
