Job summary

Network International is seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to set product vision and strategy for our payments platform in South Africa. You will lead discovery, define features, and translate market needs into a compelling roadmap in collaboration with engineering, data, design and UX teams.

You have 5+ years in software product management, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to translate customer insights into working solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a software product manager.
• Experience in app design and development.
• Strong commercial mindset with empathy for merchants (SMEs to enterprises).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy grounded in research with a clear short and long-term plan and market segment projections.
• Lead discovery and development of new products while optimizing existing features.
• Drive execution by setting clear goals, tracking progress, and analyzing post-launch performance.
• Lead the roadmap by understanding market, competition, and user requirements and translating them into an executable plan.
• Understand our customers by speaking to merchants and testing solutions before drafting requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineering, data, design, and UX to deliver on the strategy.
• Make decisions that enable delivery of great products and services to our customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of how we work.
