Job summary

Sportingbet South Africa seeks a product manager to own end-to-end experience for Casino and Banking & Cashier, within Entain's platform. You’ll ship production-ready features that move revenue, retention, and trust in the SA market.

You’ll own roadmaps, manage game content, monitor casino metrics, brief CRM on bonuses, and optimise cashier flows while ensuring WCGRB/FICA compliance in a hybrid Cape Town setup.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of product management experience with a track record of shipping features that moved commercial metrics.
• Strong analytical ability and data-driven decision making; SQL or BI tools a plus.
• Experience owning a product area involving payment flows, cashier/checkout, or financial transactions.
• Excellent written communication for PRDs and stakeholder updates.
• Experience working with third-party platforms and APIs where the local team does not own core infra.
• Comfortable in regulated environments with compliance and legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the casino product roadmap for the South African market and advocate for local customization.
• Manage game content portfolio including slots, live casino, and table games with provider relationships.
• Analyze casino performance (NGR, hold, margin, active players) and translate data into lobby/UX/promotions.
• Brief CRM/marketing on bonusing mechanics, free-spin campaigns, and tournament structures; ensure correct configurations.
• Identify gaps vs competitors; monitor SA iGaming trends and feature requests.
• Manage the casino content calendar with trading/marketing teams.
• Own the deposit/withdrawal journey; reduce friction and improve success rate and processing speed.
• Ensure cashier flows comply with WCGRB, FICA, and responsible gambling controls.
• Collaborate with support to feed customer complaints into the roadmap; monitor SA payments landscape.
