Job summary

Solid Systems Group in Cape Town is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement from quote to delivery, ensuring hardware, software, licensing, and subscriptions meet client needs with clear communication.

You will coordinate supplier quotes, issue POs, track deliveries, maintain records, and support billing with Finance, contributing to a smooth client experience in a values-led, hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and 2–3 years in procurement or related roles.
• Experience in IT services, MSP, tech, or software licensing.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Professional communication with clients, suppliers, Finance, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement from quote to delivery for hardware, software, licensing, and subscriptions.
• Source suppliers, compare pricing, and prepare clear quotes.
• Issue POs, track deliveries, manage back orders, and update clients.
• Maintain procurement records: quotes, approvals, POs, invoices.
• Coordinate returns, repairs, warranty claims, and RMAs.
• Manage software licensing renewals and agreements.
• Maintain supplier info, pricing, renewal schedules, and support billing with Finance.
