Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist focused on indirect spend to join its Vereeniging team. You will manage procurement for non-production goods and services, lead RFx processes, and develop sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency.

Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, ensuring policy compliance, and managing multiple spend categories while supporting the company’s financial performance and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience, focusing on indirect spend.
• Experience in RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RQ) and supplier negotiations.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist with a focus on indirect spend to join their established team in Vereeniging . This role is crucial for managing the acquisition of all non-production related goods and services, including IT, marketing, HR, and facilities management. You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, leading negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for indirect categories, ensuring best value and quality.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for various indirect spend areas.
• Conduct RFx (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes and lead supplier negotiations.
• Establish and manage strong relationships with key suppliers of indirect goods and services.

Requirements
