The role emphasizes SAP proficiency, strong negotiation, and supplier relationship management, with 5+ years in sourcing, ideally in mining and industrial sectors.

You will coordinate orders, monitor performance, ensure QMS and health & safety compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
• 2–3 years’ experience in procurement, expediting, or logistics.
• Minimum 5 years’ sourcing and procurement experience, ideally in mining and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, comparing offerings to meet requirements.
• Verify quotes and purchase orders against commercial and technical specifications before release.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, POs, and procurement data in SAP or similar systems.
• Coordinate procurement processes and track timely receipt of orders.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring documentation and quality standards are met.
• Monitor supplier performance and address poor performance.
• Maintain positive client relationships, conduct assessments, and attend client meetings.
• Resolve procurement‑related queries efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Review open order and expediting reports, taking action on overdue items.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, Health & Safety, and drive continuous improvement.
