Ergasia Placements is seeking a Procurement Officer for a client in Bloemfontein to manage procurement administration in a production facility. The role focuses on documentation, inventory planning, supplier price evaluation, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, with collaboration across production, quality control, and finance.

A National Senior Certificate or equivalent, 3 years of relevant experience, a valid RSA driver's licence, and knowledge of the animal

Qualifikationen

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4.
• 3 years' experience in procurement administrative role within a production facility.
• RSA driver's licence with own transport.
• Knowledge and experience in animal feed industry will be favourable.
• Qualification in business, supply chain management or agriculture will be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Documentation and record management.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and anticipate raw material needs.
• Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials.
• Evaluate supplier prices and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and finance departments to ensure the availability of raw materials for production.
