We’re looking for a Procurement & LogisticsAdministrator who can bring organisation, accuracy and energy to afast-moving supply chain environment.
This is more than a traditional admin role. You’ll be at thecentre of procurement, stock, logistics, reporting and business systems,helping ensure the right products arrive at the right place, at the right timeand that management has the right data to make smart decisions.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Procurement
- Raise,issue and track purchase orders for raw materials, packaging andprocessing consumables.
- Ensureraw materials are procured according to forecast, budget and productionrequirements.
- Assistwith sourcing and evaluating new suppliers.
- Liaisewith suppliers and growers regarding pricing, availability and deliveryschedules.
- Comparesupplier and freight costs and identify opportunities to save money.
- Maintainthe approved supplier database and records.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitorpackaging and consumable stock levels and identify upcoming shortages.
- Keepprocurement and inventory records accurate and up to date.
- Trackstock integrity, shelf life and stock variances.
- Helpensure warehouse targets and good warehouse practices are maintained.
Logistics
- Coordinateinbound and outbound shipments.
- Scheduletransporters, freight forwarders and container bookings.
- Trackshipments and proactively communicate delays or potential problems.
- Assistwith customs clearance and cross-border logistics.
- Keepfreight costs within agreed targets.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepareand check export and shipping documentation, including:
- Certificatesof Origin
- Phytosanitarycertificates
- Keepprocurement and logistics records organised, accurate and audit-ready.
- Ensurerelevant statutory and industry reporting requirements are maintained.
Business Systems & Reporting
- Ensureoperational, procurement, sales and financial data is accurate andavailable when needed.
- Maintainand improve the CustomApp data ecosystem.
- Ensurebusiness information is captured correctly and stored securely.
- Produceaccurate reports for Directors and senior management.
- Helpturn data into meaningful information that supports faster, smarterbusiness decisions.
- Reportmonthly on material budget overs and unders.
Finance & Budgets
- Assistwith budgets relating to Cost of Sales, transport, consumables and centraloverheads.
- Ensuredelivery notes, goods-received notes and supplier invoices are accuratelyreconciled with Finance.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunitiesacross procurement and logistics.
Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12.
- Atleast 2 years' experience in procurement, logistics, supply chainadministration or a similar role.
- Atleast 2 years' experience in business data management and analysis.
- Excellentattention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strongorganisational and multitasking abilities.
- Confidentcommunication skills when dealing with suppliers, transporters andinternal teams.
- Aproactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Comfortablelearning and working with ERP, inventory and business systems.
- Experienceusing AI tools.
Advantageous:
- Diplomaor qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement.
- Experiencein food processing, agriculture or export environments.
- Knowledgeof export documentation and customs processes.
- Experienceworking with stock/inventory management systems.
A Few More Things
- A validdriver's licence and own transport are preferred.
- Youshould be willing to work occasional extended hours when production orshipment deadlines require it.
- You’llwork closely with Production, Finance, Warehouse/Stores, Sales,Directors and the General Manager, as well as external suppliers,growers, transporters, freight forwarders, customs agents and softwareproviders.
