About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing department in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is critical for optimizing procurement strategies through rigorous data analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving overall supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for tracking spend, analyzing supplier performance, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools, and a solid understanding of procurement principles within a dynamic business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market trends, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics and KPIs.
• Support the negotiation process by providing data-driven insights and cost analysis.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements
