About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing team in Queenstown . This role is critical in supporting the procurement function by analyzing spending patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and evaluating supplier performance. You will work closely with the procurement specialists and managers to ensure efficient and effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive procurement excellence within the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical spending data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Support the sourcing and negotiation process by providing market intelligence and cost breakdowns.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in the preparation of RFPs/RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to track key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
