Valterra Platinum Limited is recruiting for a B2 level operator at Mortimer Smelter in Limpopo. The role focuses on safe operations, completing tasks, inspections and supporting the team across daily production processes.

We seek candidates with Grade 12/NQF4 and at least six months of working experience, plus basic computer literacy. There are four positions, with a focus on safety, compliance and teamwork at this site.

Job Description

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Safety

Consistent application of Safety & Health principles in all discipline interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.

Performance and Delivery

• Completion of allocated tasks

  • Assist with fault finding and problem analysis
  
  
  • Follow instructions from supervisors carefully

This role is at a B2 level reporting to the Process Supervisor

• Monitor start and stop equipment where required and complete safety inspections
