Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing activities at our site. You will mix products according to SOPs, follow recipes, and ensure batches meet specifications.

You will perform CIP, visual inspections, and maintain accurate batch records while staying compliant with GMP and Food Safety requirements. You will also coordinate with QC for swab testing, load recipes from the system, and report any discrepancies to the Process Controller to ensure smooth

Responsibilities

• Mix products according to SOPs to meet daily production plan.
• Mix batches according to recipes and meet product specifications.
• Clean mixing equipment and surrounding area per GMP and Food Safety requirements.
• CIP the tanks and fillers according to requirements.
• Perform visual inspections inside tanks before starting batch making.
• Inform QC to take swabs after CIP.
• Complete CIP check-sheets.
• Audit material against shop floor order and rectify discrepancies with Issuer and sign.
• Receive batch raw material from stores.
• Load recipes from system and align information with shop floor order and plan.
• Compare shop floor order with recipes.
• Connect swing bands properly to avoid contamination of products.
• Report discrepancies to the Process Controller.
• Record batches in the batch control book.
• Take samples of product to QC.

• Take samples of product to QC
