Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Plant Operator to join a mineral processing facility in East London. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor crushers, screens, conveyors, and flotation cells to ensure efficient production and product quality.

You will perform routine checks, collect samples for lab analysis, log data, adhere to safety and environmental standards, and assist with basic maintenance. Shift work including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as an operator in a processing plant env. (mining, chemical or similar) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment operation.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
